Dr Elise Schroeder is a naturopathic physician with a special interest in women’s healthcare and hormone balance. She has recently moved back to Portland, Oregon from Virginia where she was voted number one best alternative practitioner in Loudoun County. In addition to treating patients, she works at a hormone testing lab in Beaverton, Oregon where she consults with other health care providers on hormone balance and hormone replacement therapy, hosts a monthly teleconference on rotating health topics and lectures on hormone health and wellness. She has worked in a reproductive health care clinic for 9 years, has previously participated in a midwifery apprenticeship and currently volunteers at Mercy and Wisdom Healing Center, one of the Multnomah county health clinics. Dr Schroeder is an avid teacher, having been a lead professor at a leading massage school in Washington DC, a guest lecturer at George Washington University, Columbia Presbyterian hospital in NYC, Portland State University and other educational and community organizations. Dr Schroeder graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from SUNY Albany and earned her Naturopathic Medical Degree at NCNM in Portland Oregon.
