Please welcome Jessie to Blossom!
Originally from Texas, Jessie found herself drawn to the lush mossy forests of Oregon and relocated out of a profound need to foster a deeper connection with nature. She received her B.S. in Psychology and Human Development from Washington State University and is currently completing her clinical rotation at Randall’s Children Hospital to become a Licensed Horticultural Therapist.
Before joining us at Blossom Clinic, Jessie brought nature-based programming to diverse populations in hospitals and assisted living facilities and taught gardening and plant care to children in the Portland and Vancouver school districts. Jessie is passionate about nature’s healing and transformative power and volunteers with the Portland Rescue Mission to bring therapeutic horticulture to individuals recovering from addiction. In her spare time, she can usually be found in her garden covered in soil, painting, or exploring the great outdoors with her partner and their dog.
